Corefall

In an era hungry for smart, edge-of-your-seat storytelling, author Barrie Anthony Carter bursts onto the scene with Corefall. This visceral techno-thriller grabs readers from page one and refuses to let go. Set against the crumbling infrastructure of the western United States, Corefall follows an unlikely coalition of scientists, military leaders, and everyday heroes as they face an unspeakable geological crisis that threatens not just cities but the planet itself.

At the story’s core is Dr. Elias Varo, a once-renowned geophysicist silenced by the institutions he once served. His groundbreaking AI model, CORENET, warns of an unprecedented seismic anomaly deep beneath Earth’s surface. With time running out and trust in short supply, Varo joins forces with geology professor Angela Beck and Navy veteran James Hardy to spearhead an experimental operation: drilling into the Earth’s mantle and injecting it with liquid helium and Formula 9, a last-ditch gamble with global consequences.

From the scorching deserts of Nevada to collapsed cities and classified command bunkers, Corefall is a cinematic ride packed with human loss, ethical tension, and technological urgency. It’s a story about who we become when nature reminds us it’s in charge.

As governments collapse under pressure and scientists race to decode an evolving anomaly, Carter weaves real science with suspense and emotional depth. The book doesn’t just imagine disaster, it dares readers to consider what they would sacrifice to survive it.

A gripping tale of humanity’s fragility, institutional failure, and the power of perseverance, Corefall is the next must-read for fans of Michael Crichton, Andy Weir, and Emily St. John Mandel.

About The Author:

He has been a builder for more than 45 years and is very good at his work. His way of going to school was different from the norm. Because he can learn independently and always tries to improve, he has had great jobs as a general laborer, a teacher, and an apprenticeship boss. Easy skills like understanding blueprints and surveying can be taught, safety can be taught, and utilities can be put in the ground.

Some of the well-known building companies that Barrie has worked for are Wilcoxon, Arthur L. Hamel, and Anchor Construction Corporation. The Washington Building Congress has given him several Annual Craftsmanship Awards for his work to teach workers and keep them safe. These awards show how much he has done to improve things for the people and the health care in the area.

In his spare time, Barrie still loves to teach new people how to do their jobs by going to job sites with them. He loves living in Maryland with his wife, grandson, and daughter-in-law because they are all close. Barrie likes to fish and do chores around the house when he’s not working. It helps him unwind and think about new things.

It’s essential to work hard and believe in yourself if you want good things to happen. Barrie Anthony Carter has lived and worked his whole life with this idea in mind.
